I purchased this Blue Pozi/Bordeaux 550 in July of 2023 with plans to keep it long term as you can see by the extensive work I have done.  However, a business opportunity has come up so I am considering selling it.

My goal with this car was to replace all the wear parts, make updates to areas where improvements could be had, and to make it a reliable daily driver that I’d feel comfortable driving cross country.   Where parts were changed from factory spec I have kept the factory parts for the next owner.

The car comes with:
- Service records since new
- Clean Carfax
- All books, manuals, tools, etc.
- Car cover
- 2 keys, 3 fobs, plus a 430 key that works as a key/fob combination

Below is a summary of the major work done to the car starting with the previous owner and continuing through my ownership.

**Previous Owner - 2020 - 2023**
- Leather dash recovered
- Bumper and hood resprayed
- Both catalyst ECU’s replaced
- A/C overhauled - Compressor, receiver/dryer, o-rings, etc. Blows VERY cold.
- Alternator replaced
- Front half of car PPF’d
- Custom center console
- Timing belt service - 6/15/23, 40,090 miles

**Current Owner - 07/2023 - Present**

*Exterior*
- Remainder of car PPF’d
- Passenger side quarter glass replaced to correct worn rubber seal
- Headlights removed, disassembled, all interior and exterior surfaces polished and ceramic coated, new rubber gaskets installed.
- Side and rear windows (40%) and windshield (80%) tinted.

*Exhaust*
- Full Fiamenghi system installed including headers (Cerakote), 200 cell cats, double H-pipe, and valved mufflers (mufflers installed by previous owner). Dash switch from StickyRX to control exhaust was installed in the blank switch location. Also includes a wireless remote.

*Suspension/Brakes/Wheels*
- Coilovers were installed in the fall of 2023, all other suspension, brakes, tires and wheels were installed in the summer of 2024 and have less than 1K mile on them.
- Suspension rebuilt with new bushings (24), ball joints (4), sway bar links (4), sway bar bushings (4). All from Superperformance.
- MCS coilovers with adjustable dampening. Springs: Front - 16k, Rear - 10k
- Fortune Auto electronic coilover controller. Allows for adjustment of the coilovers from inside the car. Controller is located under the center console cover. Includes Comfort, Sport, and Race settings (can be custom set).
- Brembo Big Brake Kit. Front: 6 piston calipers with 380mm rotors. Rear: 4 piston calipers with 380mm rotors. Stainless brake lines. (original calipers and rotors included).
- Forza 20 X 9.5 and 20 X 12 wheels. Original wheels included.
- New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. 275/30/20 325/25/20
- MSW steering module. Original steering module included.
- MSW rear sway bar. Original sway bar included.

*Fuel System*
- Tank removed, cleaned, all seals replaced, fuel pumps/hoses/vibration pads replaced, aluminum fuel pump covers installed. All parts are ethanol safe.
- Fuel injectors rebuilt by Mr. Injector
- New fuel filters

*Cooling System*
- 575/612 fan shroud installed. This provides 100% coverage of the radiator and improves cooling when the car is not moving.
- New Spal fans (OEM)
- Cooling harness installed. This pulls fan power directly from the battery for improved current flow and relieves strain on the fuse panel.
- Silicon hoses installed.
- System flushed and refilled (twice).

*Ignition System*
- Original spark plug wires and coils were replaced with MSW Coil-On-Plug system. There is now an individual coil pack for each cylinder. Spark plugs replaced. Original coils included.

*Intake/Cam Covers*
- Intake and cam covers were removed and refinished by a local highly-skilled painter using OEM style wrinkle paint from Italy. Is by far the most accurate refinish I have seen.
- All gaskets, o-rings, etc. replaced.
- Idle valves, intake valve system, and other parts were removed and cleaned.

*Interior*
- Steering wheel leather remounted.
- No sticky buttons
- Rear carpet remounted on new plastic underpanel
- New floor mats
- High-end audio (Focal and Audio Control) installed that is mostly invisible and controlled via Bluetooth.
- Original head unit retained.
- Front speakers replaced with Focal ES130K’s
- Tweeter pods from Scuderia Audio installed in doors to house 13/16” Focal tweeters.
- Rear speakers were replaced with Focal 570AC’s (behind carpet like they were from the factory).
- Small subs (Focal ISUB Twins) behind seats.
- AudioControl D-6.1200 Amp/DSP mounted in the trunk where the CD changer was originally located. CD changer included

*Other*
- Ignition key cylinder failed (unbelievable) and I found a new/old stock set of lock cylinders with 2 new keys. So the ignition and doors have brand new locks and keys.
- 3 braided oil lines running from the oil reservoir were replaced due to one of them having a small leak.
- Brake cooling duct hoses replaced with aerospace grade hoses.
- Power steering fluid changed.
- Air filters were replaced twice.
- Oil changed twice.

Launched to the press at the Nürburgring in 1996, the 550 Maranello was Ferrari's answer to those who believed the performance of a front-engined V12 car could not beat that of a mid-engined sports car. The successor to the F512M, the 550 Maranello proved quicker and, thanks to its better front-engined, rear drive packaging layout, far more practical.
