This Dino was originally purchased by Chris Martin of Martin guitars. It has factory Daytona seats, AC and power windows. The car was displayed by Ferrari at the 1974 Chicago auto show. Recently evaluated by Mathias Baartz while he was visiting in Florida. Current owner has performed extensive restoration of the undercarriage including suspension, brakes and steering. Excellent driver with functioning gauges, electric antenna, radio and AC. Always a hit at local car shows.

With the sales of the Dino 246 GT stable, Ferrari looked to increase its popularity still further by introducing an open version. The 246 GTS made its debut at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show and reactions were immediately very positive. The styling retained the individual, attractive lines of the 264 GT, with the added advantage of a practical targa top for open-air driving.
