Description
1974 Ferrari 246 GTS Dino, S/N 08126, Silver Argento Auteuil Metallizzato 106-E-1 with red and black Daytona seat interior. 2.4 liter V6 with 5 speed transmission. USA car with power windows and air conditioning. This gorgeous Dino was very close to the end of production and built on April 30th, 1974. Delivered new to the USA and spent over 5 decades in California and just recently moved out of state. The current owner, a collector that has owned many Dinos was always unhappy with the braking, so he upgraded these front brakes to a “big brake kit” out of the UK along with great looking UK made Dino style 16” rims and tires. This is a very noticeable and needed upgrade. All parts saved and included which includes 4 Campagnolo rims. Repainted sometime in the past to its original color and we have past service records for an engine out service and recent new muffler. Matching number motor, Bartz Dino Compendium history, owners manual, jack & spare and Dino tool kit. This is a great, late production Dino GTS in a striking color combo ready for its next caretaker.

Striking color combo of silver/red

With the sales of the Dino 246 GT stable, Ferrari looked to increase its popularity still further by introducing an open version. The 246 GTS made its debut at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show and reactions were immediately very positive. The styling retained the individual, attractive lines of the 264 GT, with the added advantage of a practical targa top for open-air driving.
